Sina Joseph is an Alumnus of Harvard Business School, graduated from University of Benin as the best graduating student from the department of Mathematics with 1st Class honors in 1990. He has also undertaken the General Management Programme (GMP) of the Harvard Business School and several other leadership programmes. He is a member of several professional bodies. He has over 30 years experience spanning banking, technologies, payments and leadership.
He is currently the Managing Partner/CEO of Global SJX Limited, prior to joining Global SJX Limited in 2018, he was the Director (Technologies & Operations) at Unified Payment System Limited) between 2013 & 2018 where he introduced many innovative solutions and enhanced the technology infrastructure of the company that led to over 5X growth in the volume of transactions and profitability. He was the CIO and Acting Directorate head of IT and Operations between 2008 and 2012 at Keystone Bank Limited (legacy Bank PHB) where he revamped and completed the implementation of Temenos T24 in record time. He also implemented application that improved service availability in the entire network and at all touch points. Between 2003 and 2008, Sina was the Chief Information Officer of Access Bank. He transformed the IT Infrastructure of the organization to one of the best in the Financial Service industry. He was also involved in several business transformation projects, mergers and acquisitions. Before joining Access Bank Plc, he was the Data Centre Manager of Citi Bank Nigeria.
